After an operation, chronic hoarseness, or nodules, it becomes necessary to (re-)learn how to use the voice, so that the same symptoms do not arise again. To all intents and purposes this amounts to an indispensable process of vocal ‘physiotherapy’ (or perhaps, re-education), which often also involves recuperating a damaged approach to breathing and muscles.
The objective of this course is two-fold: vocal recovery, obviously, but accompanying the development of awareness surrounding the use of the voice, which is crucial in avoiding the same pitfalls again.
